Credit Controller

A leading recruitment firm is looking to hire a Senior Credit Controller for a full-time, permanent role in Central London. This is a varied and rewarding role for a Credit Controller with 3+ years of experience to develop their career within an industry leader.

Responsibilities of your new role

The key duties of your new Credit Control position will include:

• Collection activities and maintenance of the sales ledger
• Being the first port of call for any invoice/billing queries
• Liaising with the consultants to resolve customer queries
• Working proactively to ensure debtor days remain at a minimum
• All written communication and processes actioned to agreed timescales
• Taking payments by debit or credit card
• Raising credit notes
• Producing the end to end process of direct debit collection duties including setting new instructions up, following up on failed direct debits, following instructions that are cancelled and producing the collection files
• Creating and setting up of new customers on to the accounting platform
• Ad-hoc admin tasks

Candidate profile

To be considered for this Credit Controller vacancy your application must demonstrate:

• Good knowledge of Excel
• Confidence performing the reconciliation process
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Self-motivation and proactivity

Salary

The successful Credit Controller will be offered up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
