My client, a world leader in its field are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to lead, develop and maintain professional accounting services for the two UK organisations.
This position will be based in Somerset and my client is ideally looking for candidates that have strong manufacturing experience and a "hands on" approach to all financial practices & reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Line management and leadership of the Finance team
- Maintain, control and optimise the ERP system for all financial processes
- Prepare month end and quarterly financial accounts and reports
- Manage cash flow analysis and projections
- Prepare annual budget, reporting variances and supporting managers with corrective plans
- Control of general, sales, purchase and general cost ledgers
- Oversee finance team routine activities including payroll generation, staff expenses, P11Ds , PAYE settlement agreements and reconciliations
- Develop and improve financial systems and management information
- Prepare annual statutory accounts in conjunction with the auditors
- Provide information for corporation tax returns to the Company's external advisors
- Control CAPEX financial process including the Fixed Asset Register
- Provide strategic management advice as part of the Senior Management Teams
- Effectively co-ordinate, communicate and manage relationships with external auditors, advisors, insurers, banks and suppliers
Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant with significant experience in the complete range of financial management processes
- An understanding of the complexities of finance management within an international Group preferred, ideally with experience within the manufacturing sector
- ERP system implementation and optimisation knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound problem solving skills and use of initiative
- Experience in effectively managing a small team
