Financial Controller

Due to continued growth, a £10m turnover business operation has a newly created opportunity for a Financial Controller. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they launch a new division. This is essentially a Head of Finance role, reporting to the board and offering wide responsibility and a good level of autonomy. Specific opportunities within this role will include:

• Development of the systems to support onward growth including being finance lead for a planned ERP/stock management system implementation
• Development of the small team to ensure that the department runs smoothly and efficiently
• Creating positive working relationships across the business, enabling delivery of added value analysis and reporting

To be considered for this role you will have experience of managing a finance function within an SME, ability to deliver meaningful management accounts and proven staff management skills. Previous experience within a stock based business would be beneficial and professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA) is desirable.
