Farrer Barnes are pleased to be partnering again with a fascinating global business based in the Medway Towns to assist them in securing a Group Accountant to join their dynamic team.
The business operated in a niche sector and has global reach with sites in Asia, the US and a head office finance team in Chatham. A newly created role, this will see the right candidate reporting into the senior finance heads in the UK and partnering with both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business.
Key duties will include but not be limited to;
· To independently prepare and present monthly and annual accounts
· To provide commercial support as deemed necessary to the companies
· Ensuring all month-end processes are completed in line with group reporting deadlines
· Monthly bank reconciliations
· Reviewing and understanding the financial results for UK operations and presenting those results to stakeholders
· Continuous process improvement
· Supporting the Directors with the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
· Ensuring that a strong financial control environment is maintained
· Supporting the finance team and enhancing their experience and knowledge
