A globally recognised and fast growing manufacturing business currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their Rotherham based head office.

The company have enjoyed significant growth and are looking to accelerate their progression over the coming year. Based within easy commutable distance from Sheffield, Barnsley and Doncaster, the company are looking to add an ambitious and driven individual to work with the Financial Controller.

Working into the Group Finance Controller the key responsibilities will centre around:

* Drive standardisation through documented processes and seeking opportunities for process improvements
* Supporting and developing the financial acumen of the management team and other key stakeholders
* Assist in the development and implementation of the company's strategy and proactively challenging the management team when performance is not aligned
* Driving the importance of costing across the business to assist managers in making key strategic decisions
* Supporting month end completion to meet Group requirements
* Seeking greater alignment between finance and operations to identify improvement opportunities
* Working closely with local finance to develop knowledge, transfer skills and identify further efficiencies to deliver best in class financial service
* Reviewing and driving initiatives to reduce working capital within each subsidiary
* Investing time in understanding business process and areas for improvement
* Driving business to standard costing, margin and variance analysis to facilitate key business decisions
* Undertaking ad-hoc business projects as and when required

There will be the opportunity and necessity for worldwide travel, with an emphasis on the right candidate controlling the accounting and operational procedures for the international subsidiaries.

The role will involve senior level reporting so a professional and assertive character is needed. Candidates will be Qualified and have strong IT skills, however a strong Part Qualified candidate will be considered.

You must be able to work in a fast paced and energetic environment to lead this growing business forward. Progression opportunities will arise within the first 12-18 months for someone with high aspirations and a dedicated work ethic.
