Finance Manager

Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, our client is an established company looking for an Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

This job would suit an experienced management accountant who will support the accounts team to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial information. The job will also involve providing key reports to the management team and various HR related duties.

This company is an award winning, market leader with over 35 years' experience within their field.

The successful individual will have great attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills. It is essential the candidate is organised and has good time management skills. Strong IT skills, including Excel are essential and the candidate must have excellent communication and numeracy skills.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the management of the month end close and reporting
  • Month End Reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare aged creditors reports for management purposes
  • Checking and Posting Purchase Ledger transactions
  • Checking and verifying sales orders processed for EMEA region
  • Processing expenses
  • Processing, checking, recording and issuing sales invoices and credit notes
  • Ensuring the sales invoices are posted correctly
  • Take responsibility of Credit Control and resolving customer queries and reduce the aged debt
  • Interact with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, and department heads
  • Provide support related to EMEA People & Culture, including coordinating employee recognition and morale efforts in conjunction with US People & Culture department
  • Assist with recruitment and employee lifecycle tasks as needed
  • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and acting as point of contact for the facility, ordering supplies, etc.)
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information
