Commercial Pricing Analyst - To £45,000 + Benefits - Caerphilly

Your new company is a large services organisation with a presence across the UK.


Your new role

This is a newly created role to sit in the recently formed pricing team.

You`ll report to the head of pricing and support the delivery of price improvement initiatives across the business. You`ll work closely with the senior management team and head of pricing to analyse and set pricing plans for the customers of the organisation and its subsidiaries customers.

This role will require you to analyse a large data set in order to optimise price guidance and policy in the group. The role will require you to drive improvements in the reporting and analytical abilities for the pricing team, which will in turn offer real commercial value, driving business performance.

Responsibilities ;-

• Undertake profitability reviews of existing and new business
• Support pricing activity through extraction , transformation and provision of new data available to the business
• Support the head of pricing with any ad-hoc / data projects

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or possess the relevant pricing experience. If you are qualified with commercial analysis experience we would still like to hear from you. It is likely you`ll have a lot of the transferable skills required provided you`ve worked in a commercial accounting function.

In return you`ll receive a salary up to £45,000 plus benefits.
