Financial Controller - Media

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Broadcasting/Media Organisation based in West London. The Company are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to work closely with the Project Transition Team to bring the finance function in-house. The interim Financial Controller would be a Qualified Accountant who has previously worked within the broadcasting or media sector. The Interim Financial Controller will have an acute commercial focus and will business partner closely with senior stakeholders.

Duties of the Financial Controller include:

 Development and implementation of internal controls and financial procedures

 Identity, select and implement a new system

 Supporting the FD on operational change and transformation

 Develop budgeting and forecast process

 Work closely with current agencies to migrate information internally

 Redesigning and implementing processes and mapping out efficient methods of working

 Ensuring that robust controls are in place to assure reporting accuracy

 Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to implement migration

 Offering financial leadership in developing commercial strategy and business plan

 Financial and management reporting

 Ad-hoc projects
