Oliver James Associates are seeking a high calibre CFO to join a growing business who are looking to achieve substantial expansion on an international scale in the coming years.
Oliver James Associates are seeking a high calibre CFO to join a growing business based in the North West. The company is experiencing a period of growth and is well positioned (both operationally and financially) to achieve substantial global expansion in the coming years.
Purpose of the role
- To help steer the business through delivery of its business strategy both commercially and financially whilst working closely with all other Executive Directors in this pivotal role
- Commercial and strategic matters will see the CFO work closely with the CEO to drive global expansion initiatives
- Oversight and responsibility for the efficient, accurate, timely and high-quality production of internal and external reporting outputs
Expertise
- Experienced Finance Director / CFO with demonstrable experience as a strategic leader
- Technically and commercially astute finance leader who can take on a broad role
- A candidate who is willing to come in and take a 'sleeves rolled up' approach initially to ensure a robust control environment with appropriate levels of financial rigour
- Equally, a financial leader with gravitas to work at an executive level and partner with the CEO
- Significant experience of driving strategic growth initiatives on an international scale - USA, APAC, EMEA

- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate financial and commercial issues in a practical manner
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Management
- Embed core values, delivering consistent messages
- Lead, coach and manage the Finance and Operations team through effective performance management
- Keep the team briefed and involved on developing business strategy and initiatives
- Work with the CEO to ensure IT systems are meeting operational and strategic requirements
