Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Commercial Analyst for a leading contract and outsource provider.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the main purpose of the role is to provide commercial, financial and reporting support to the operational teams within the various business areas. This will be accomplished by producing operational reporting, ad-hoc financial and commercial models/review for projects and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own reporting and contract life cycle modelling process across all contracts
- Provide key insights on operational performance, through various reports including dashboards, trend analysis reports and similar MI to aid informed decision making
- Develop/Extend plans and models for budgeting and rolling forecast processes
- Undertake cost-benefit analysis and Variance Analysis for various projects
- Develop financial models to ascertain profitability of contracts
- Use enhanced pricing model to support new contract wins and new business cases
- Support with operational and financial reporting processes during month end and year end
- Verify integrity of financial MI
- Create efficient and sustainable Management Information systems
- Develop and roll out the use of trackers and tools to establish financial controls
- Provide automation of financial, audit and operational processes using Excel VBA/Access/VBA/Microsoft SSRS and SQL queries
- Work on ad-hoc projects on a regular basis as required by the business
Key Skills & Experience:
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or demonstrable equivalent commercial technical knowledge
- Finance & accounting reporting cycle
- Advanced Excel and VBA
- Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial members of the team
- Commercial awareness & drive
- Strong organisational & planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
