Management Accountant

A start up sports company based in Central London is looking for an interim Management Accountant to join their team full time for an initial 3-months contract. The role, based in the UK but working closely with global teams, is suitable for a Management Accountant who has run month end processes in previous roles.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant role is a pivotal role within the finance function and critical to the success of the business. The primary objective of the role is to ensure accuracy of all accounting and to ensure all financial controls and reconciliations are in place. Your key duties as Management Accountant are to include:

• Timely, accurate production and review of monthly group management accounts.
• Preparation of monthly departmental P&L's
• Continued process and controls improvements
• Reconciliation of several key balance sheet accounts during the month and at month end
• Management of daily cashflow and supplier queries
• Liaising with auditors on the year-end process
• Supporting Group Financial Controller with ERP Implementation and ad hoc Projects

Key attributes

To be considered for this Management Accounting role you must demonstrate:

• A professional accounting qualification and 2-3 years of PQE
• Experience of working in small teams
• Solid foundation in month end process

Salary

The successful Management Accountant will be offered a competitive daily rate of £275 - £320, dependent on experience.
