Finance Manager

Our client, an expanding and ambitious international business, are seeking to appoint a self-motivated and proactive Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in assisting the company achieve their exciting growth objectives.

Duties will include:

• Managing the day to day financial operations including invoicing, expenditure analysis and payroll utilising Sage and MRP systems
• Utilising financial indicators and metrics to assess overall company performance, monitor variances to budgets, advising on the financial impact of business decisions.
• Provide regular monthly reporting per department and overall company
• Supporting the senior management team in business tendering, pricing, purchasing and grant applications
• Accounts preparation prior to passing to company accountants
• Management of both Sterling and Euro Bank accounts
• Ensure governance of all internal finance processes
• Liaising with all stakeholders including internal departments, and external accountants

Candidate

This position will suit a candidate with at least 5 years' experience who is seeking a pivotal role, encompassing monthly financial and management accounts, and working on strategic projects with the Directors. Whilst initially the role is hands on and involves working closely with the business owners, ultimately the Finance Manager will recruit their own team, therefore strong leadership skills are important.

Everyone contributes to the continued success of this business and therefore you will need to show a proven collaborative and "can do" approach, to engage and communicate with colleagues across the business.

Previous experience in the manufacturing sector will be an advantage.

AAT qualified, or ACA, ACCA or CIMA is desirable

Salary: circa £35k
