SF Recruitment are actively working with a service business based in Lichfield, who are after a period of significant growth seeking to employ a temporary to permanent Group Financial Accountant.
The role is reporting into the Finance Manager and will involve taking an active role in the business' Financial Accounts.
My client is ideally looking for an experienced Financial Accountant having worked in a large business previously and used to working with internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants should be either ACCA/CIMA qualified or a finalist. It is imperative that candidates have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and are able to use vlook ups or pivot tables.
Responsibilities will include the following duties;
- Preparing and / or reviewing Group and subsidiaries’ statutory year end and interim accounts in accordance with IFRS
- Coordinating with other business areas such as company secretarial, regulatory reporting and risk, marketing
- Liaising with the Group’s external auditors and investor relations
- Additionally, you will provide support to the Accounting team and wider Business as required
