Finance Analyst

Interim Finance Analyst job in Harlow paying up to £300pd (Ltd). Start date of 24th of June or 1st of July.


Job Title: Finance Analyst Rate: £250 Per Day PAYE / £300 Per Day Ltd
Location: Harlow, Essex
Duration: 3 - 5 months

Hays Senior Finance are currently working with a national healthcare organisation who are looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to work within Finance teams to provide financial advice, analysis and information to the service departments to support effective strategic decision making and budgetary control.

Specifically this will mean developing a thorough understanding of the department's service pressures and developing good working relationships with budget holders and senior managers to ensure sound reporting controls are maintained within the Department. You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities and supporting the development of business cases for service change initiatives to improve service delivery, increase efficiency and help to deliver the savings required in order to ensure the organisation's medium term financial strategy is realised.

Reporting in to the Senior Finance Business Partner, this assignment is due to last between 3-5 months. You will be based in Harlow with occasional travel up to Coventry as and when required.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA), with experience of providing strategic financial advice within a complex environment, be a confident communicator who can ensure technical information is conveyed in a non-technical way to managers and service users, have strong analytical skills and be an effective problem solver.
