This is an exciting, career-defining opportunity for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a rapidly expanding £150m t/o manufacturer who are on track to double in size over the next 5 years having secured several high profile projects/contracts. Based in impressive offices on the outskirts of Liverpool this is a senior level management accountant role were you will take full management accounting responsibility for the largest manufacturing area of the business (Approx £100m contract). Operating in a highly visible, high profile role reporting directly to the Site Financial Controller your remit will include:
Applicants will be fully qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA or professionals and will have previously operated in a high profile Management Accounting role for a large manufacturer. Good MS Excel skills are essential and knowledge of SAP or another main ERP system would be advantageous. A competitive salary - £47-53k - is complemented with benefits including 23 days holiday, 4%, Pension and the opportunity to develop and take on more responsibility as the business expands. This is a high profile, highly visible autonomous role, working within a friendly and supportive team for an impressive Site FC. This will undoubtedly be a stimulating and fulfilling role for the successful applicant. This is a permanent opportunity but the FC is particulalry interested in applicants who can start immediatley, or at short notice, and would look at a contract to permanent appointment.

- Ensuring the integrity of the reported accounts, forecasts & budgets.
- Operating as a pivotal Finance Business Partner to Operations teams and Senior Management
- Providing insight & information to support sound commercial decision making
- Weekly Flash Reporting
- Monthly stock take co-ordination & Inventory reconciliation
- PPV analysis and reporting
- MRO Valuation based upon information from Ops Team
- Accruals Preparation & action
- Monthly Management Accounts preparation
- Variance analysis and commentary for Management Reporting Pack
- Working to a 3 day month end close
- MI & KPI reporting input into the Board Pack
- Ensuring SOX compliance
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Profitability Analysis
