Head of Finance, IT & Business Planning (Charity)
Internally known as Head of Resources and Support
Truro, Cornwall
Up to £39,787 per annum, depending on skills

Our client is the leading conservation membership charity in Cornwall. They work with one and all to create a wilder Cornwall with people close to nature, and with land, rivers and seas rich in wildlife.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance, IT and Business Planning to join their Senior Management team to help deliver a Wilder Cornwall.  The role will take the lead on Finance, IT, Central Support, Administration, Fundraising, Business Planning, Compliance (including GDPR) and Property Management.

You will be tasked with managing the financial resources of the Trust, raising funds and generating income; ensuring that our time and money is spent wisely, measured and monitored; resulting in maximum impact for wildlife.

You will be expected to provide effective and efficient support services which increase transparency and accountability.  This will include reviewing and improving systems, processes, policies and compliance.  You will also review the environmental impacts of the organisation’s work and implement an action plan whilst also leading an ambitious project to renovate the headquarters.

With previous experience in a management role, you will already have experience of developing strategy and delivering measurable results through others. Knowledge and experience in all of the functions you will be leading is not essential.  Prior experience of successfully managing finance, fundraising, project management and organisational change is desirable.

A natural communicator, you will have the skills to influence, inspire and enthuse a broad range of staff, trustees, members and stakeholders.  You will have the financial acuity to understand complex income, cost centre and wider expenditure streams along with a keen intellect and strong analytical skills.

If you have high levels of integrity and honesty along with a commitment to a ‘Wilder Cornwall’, they would love to hear from you.
