Group Financial Controller, PE-backed SaaS Business

Eton Bridge Partners is working in partnership with a newly private SaaS business in the M3 Corridor to source a Group Financial Controller.  With a very impressive private equity owner, excellent profitability and an aggressive buy & build strategy it’s a business that’s going places.   As the GFC you’ll be working closely with the CFO to develop and execute a plan to build a finance team fit for future growth, on top of the day-to-day running of the business’ finances and liaising with the PE owners and other internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• With the CFO, design and implement a finance team structure suitable for accommodating future growth within the business, including further acquisitions
• Development and maintenance of robust system of internal financial controls
• External statutory accounts and year-end audit
• External debt compliance reporting and management of day-to-day relationships with banks and regulators
• Continuous improvement of finance processes and systems

Candidate profile:

• Qualified Accountant
• Significant financial control experience, preferably at Group level
• Experience managing external stakeholder relationships; PE exposure is highly desirable
• Experience in a SaaS business or similar is preferred

Package: c.£90-100k base salary plus benefits

Location: North-East Hampshire
