SF Recruitment are currently working with a Not For Profit organisation seeking an Immediately Available Financial Accountant on a temporary assignment. Duties will include supervision of a small finance team. My client is seeking a Financial Accountant to provide support to the management accountant with preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts.
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant
- Assist the Head of Finance in the completion of the Associations Annual Accounts.
- Be responsible for the approving the internal control reconciliations on a monthly / quarterly basis.
- Validate the Group's Quarterly and Annual Returns.
- Manage and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Reconcile the ledger and source systems for both Payroll and Income functions.
- Provide support in the preparation of the monthly accounts, commentaries and quarterly forecast.
- To manage the production of quarterly accounts and commentaries.
- To attend monthly meetings, provide user training, advice / guidance to budget holders.
Experience required
- Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant
- Experience in both Financial and Management accounts
- Ability to engage budget holders
