Cost Analyst

A permanent vacancy for a Cost Analyst has become available within a well-known retail business, working with their Global Supply Chain Finance team, to help evaluate the logistics costs to ensure it's in line with annual plan/forecast.

The role will involve supporting key stakeholders on a day to day basis providing operational reporting and KPI analysis to keep financial performance on track, you will provide brilliant analytical data that will show if we are operating in the most efficient and cost effective way and highlight areas where there are opportunities to streamline or improve how we operate.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the annual financial planning process, agreeing targets for the following financial year with Senior Stakeholders.
• Analyse monthly financial performance and invoices from providers to ensure they are in line with annual plan.
• Summarise clearly the key drivers for change vs. agreed budget.
• Track actual volumes and cost per pair by channel to ensure it's in line with Budget.
• Develop or maintain payment systems

Requirements:

• Business Degree or relevant or experience.
• 5yr+ in Supply Chain/Logistics or relevant retail environment
• Strong Excel
