About the role;

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Financial Controller will contribute to a large number of projects and lead a certain few. Some of the examples of these projects are;

• Group rationalisation – liquidate and simply the Group structure to ease reporting requirements and aid cash repatriation
• Reserves management – Ensure adequate reserves at plc level to support future increase in dividends
• DOA – working closely with the controls team, refine and implement a suitable DOA for a functional led business
• Lead and co-ordinate drafting of annual report and accounts, in particular the front end which includes working with company secretary, HR, communications and the external advisors.
• Drive resolution of management agreed actions from internal audit reviews
• Represent finance on the portfolio management board to challenge business case opportunities
• Intercompany balances and reconciliations – implement a new policy whereby the Group OpCo’s agree balances on a more frequent basis and eliminate regular differences
