A growing property firm based in the City of London is searching for a bright graduate to join their commercially focused finance team as a Finance Analyst. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this graduate Finance Analyst role presents a significant opportunity to provide real estate analysis that will play an integral role in key business decision making.

Responsibilities of your new role

The successful Finance Analyst will join a close-knit team of Analysts with support from established professionals. There will be a degree of variance depending on the projects you will be working on, but you should expect to be responsible for:

  • Supporting the evaluations & analytics Manager in preparing key financial models
  • Manipulating complicated spreadsheets and datasets to appraise and evaluate data integrity
  • Creating and developing financial models, running deep dive analysis and offering commentary
  • Stress testing financial models against various market conditions
  • Preparing discounted cashflows and profit & loss analysis for departments
  • Business partnering with various departments from asset management through to group finance to offer financial insight and compile data from respective business units
  • Refining, improving and progressing intuitive financial models and analysis systems
  • Presenting findings and commentary to both financial and non-financial colleagues

Candidate requirements

This entry level Finance Analyst role would suit a graduate with a highly numerate degree with less than 12 months post grad experience or looking to secure their first role in finance. Full study support is available for those wishing to pursue an accounting qualification. Your application to the Financial Analyst role should demonstrate:

  • High quality degree in a numerate discipline (i.e. maths, physics, chemistry, economics, finance, statistics or similar)
  • Active interest in a role that will challenge and develop
  • A proactive, solutions orientated mindset and a good team player attitude

Salary

The successful Graduate Finance Analyst will be offered £28,000 - £30,000 per annum plus a range of benefits including full study support.
