Our cleint, a retail business are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on an interim basis to cover maternity. The role, based in Central London, will report directly into the Finance Director, and the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the month end process ensuring all ledgers are closed promptly
- Finalisation of month end board pack - including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts for all legal entities
- Liaise with external auditors
- Preparation and/or review the monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Prepare the weekly cash flow forecast
- Manage the finance assistants in the team
The successful candidate:
- Will be part-qualified/qualified by experience (ACCA/CIMA)
- Have strong microsoft Excel skills
- Have experience of working within fast paced finance environments
- Have strong team management experience
