Property AP & Credit control Accounts Assistant - Maternity Contract. OUR CLIENT is a highly successful private Real Estate investment company focusing on the Commercial and Residential market in London. They are now looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger and Credit Control Accounts Assistant to join their team to cover a maternity contract for c9 months.
The ROLE will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Monitoring duplicate spreadsheets, identifying duplicate payments from checking supplier's accounts.
- Chasing refunds by phone, email or in writing.
- Ensuring invoices are coded, signed and addressed correctly.
- Posting invoices onto Qube, ensuring the correct property/ledger code is used.
- Checking supplier's accounts for invoices.
- Investigating and clearing outstanding entries.
- Ensuring monthly payments are made in a timely manner.
- Handling credit notes and refunds.
- Ensuring invoices are barcoded correctly.
- Creating new suppliers forms; ensuring all details are correct and setting up suppliers on Qube.
- Sending remittances to tenants.
- Checking tenant accounts, and processing payments.
- Ensuring check details are correct, and logging the date cheques have been posted.
- Printing weekly VAT receipts and producing arrears reports/ contact tenants by phone to request payment.
- Taking and processing card payments.
- Setting up new rent deposit accounts, applying interest and repaying as required.
The PERSON will possess both experience in accounts payable and credit control in a property environment with strong communication skills and a good telephone manner when speaking to tenants and suppliers. You will ideally be experienced using QUBE or a similar property management system and you must be comfortable using Excel, Word and Outlook.
