Following a significant amount of investment, a global Content Media organisation are looking for an ambitious Commercial Finance Manager. The Commercial Finance Manager will work to expand the international offering of their OTT Content Streaming product. The role will business partner with stakeholders across the organisation with significant exposure to senior leadership.

  • Full responsibility, oversight and analysis of the Product’s P&L
  • Support the Finance Director in delivering annual budget and monthly reforecast processes:
  • Develop analytical frameworks to test and critique planning and forecasting processes
  • Identify process improvements
  • Coordinate timelines and regional deliverables in accordance with those of internal stakeholders
  • Partner with key stakeholders to deeply understand and drive key business assumptions, as well as actively manage costs
  • Build strong working relationships with the Corporate FP&A group and regional finance teams to facilitate effective communication of financial performance
  • Financially assess and partner with GMs across Europe to help launch in new markets
  • Monitor and action financial and KPI success against goals
  • Development and implementation of forecast process improvements including redesigned reports and/or submission templates

Who you are

  • Have excellent academic qualifications, with a degree in a numeric or business related subject
  • CIMA/ACA or similar financial qualification preferable
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
  • Experience in financial planning, displaying strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment with quickly evolving, often ambiguous or uncertain, business goals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Previous experience in a multinational environment would be advantageous
  • Experience with advertising-based business models or subscription-based models, especially in media, is highly preferred
