My client was established in the UK in 2011, founded by a highly successful entrepreneur. Head Office is in the UK with a team of 170 and we are now trading in South Africa, Dubai, Australia, (Brisbane & Perth) New Zealand and Germany a total of 300 employees globally. They believe in developing the knowledge, capability and skills of all staff in the company.

Your new role

To maintain and develop people, controls and processes to ensure the integrity of global financial reporting at all times. The role is a critical and active member of the senior management team that secure and grow the global business.

  • Management and development of a Global Finance team (circa 15 FTE's) located in the UK, Australia and South Africa
  • Ownership of financial governance and financial policy development and deployment
  • Management of auditors and global statutory reporting
  • Global treasury & cashflow management
  • Global Foreign Exchange management and reporting
  • Insurance renewal
  • Represent Finance and play an active role within the Global Heads Team
  • Management of external advisors for local tax submissions
  • Monthly Group Consolidation and reporting to the Emirates group (actuals and forecasting)
  • Group Corporation Tax Management and oversight (Tax Planning including Transfer Pricing)
  • Bank Relationship management - Maintaining banking controls and mandates
  • Loan and Deposit Strategy (Interco Borrowings)
  • Manage the global annual budget preparation
  • Oversight of balance sheets reconciliation compliance (policy and reporting setup and managed)
  • ABTA & CAA Renewal



What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified with a practice background
  • A strong leader and able to demonstrate a track record of excellent people management of global teams
  • Strong, assertive and process driven individual which ensures the business maintains compliance with policies and procedures
  • Ability to challenge peers and superiors in a constructive and professional manner
  • Must have high attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
  • Experience of developing and implementing processes, systems and controls
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated
  • Willing and able to travel globally
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
