Financial Controller (Energy)

A Fast growth Renewable Energy / Tech business in London are looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of their reporting function, working alongside a head of FP&A, reporting into the FD.

The role will have full accounting responsibility across a group of company entities and will be a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to be part of a business in high growth at this point in their careers

The Role

• Ownership of statutory accounting process for group companies
• Attending board meetings and reporting into FD
• Identify and implement management accounting processes
• Financial analysis with particular focus on cash flow forecasting
• Build relationship with senior stakeholders, presenting financial information to the board
• Ongoing process improvement and implementation
• Work with Head of FP&A in order to strategize how commercial information is taken to the business.
• Long term involvement in deal side due diligence/investment appraisal
• Supervision of qualified management accountant as well as operationally focused Billings managers
• Annual Audit

The Candidate

• A qualified accountant - ACA
• Experience with improving processes
• Management reporting
• Desire to work in small, high tech business within the energy/renewables sector
• Supervisory experience is ideal
• Business partnering capability / ability to work with senior stakeholders
