Position: Director of Finance & Resources
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
Role: Permanent
Salary: £55,000 per annum (NB: This will be reviewed following further growth of the Trust)

Our client is a Multi Academy Trust which is based in Sevenoaks. They are now looking to recruit a Director of Finance and Resources.

The Trust is an approved academy sponsor and is supporting a local secondary school that has been issued with an academy order and will be joining the Trust.

They have strong ambitions to grow, and you will be a key part of this growth.

Applications are welcome from experienced candidates who can demonstrate the impact of their financial leadership and management across more than one organisation, school or academy.

You will be a qualified accountant, experienced in providing Boards and employees with financial reports.

You will be used to completing returns for the ESFA, as well as supporting the audit process and working to the standards laid out in the Academies Financial Handbook.

If you do not yet have experience of leading finance functions in an educational organisation, you will have the willingness to learn quickly.

You will have experience of both ‘cash based’ and ‘accruals’ accounting methods.

Salary: £55,000 (NB: This will be reviewed following further growth of the Trust)
Enhanced holiday entitlement of 7 weeks per annum
Required for August or September 2019
