Our client, a well established and leading business in Luton, have a need for a permanent full time Assistant Financial Accountant.
Working in a busy finance team, your duties as the Finance Assistant will include:
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Fixed Assets
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- EC sales
- Period end tasks
- Assist with cashflow and treasury reporting
- Analysis and reporting
- Ad hoc support as needed
The ideal candidate will be a good team player with 2-3 experience in a similar role and CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified. You will be confident working in Excel and have strong IT skills generally and be keen to learn and progress. The ability to work to deadlines and build relationships at all levels is important for this demanding and rewarding role working for a business who have grown significantly in recent times and have very impressive growth plans still in the pipeline.
The expectation is that the successful candidate will make the role their own and will move into a more senior finance role, as and when a suitable opening becomes available.
