Project Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Highly successful business based in Sheffield is seeking a Management Accountant for a 6 - 9 month contract.

THE JOB:

Duties include;

• Developing and producing financial reports with commentary and analysis
• Weekly and monthly reporting, including analysis to support key decision making.
• Promote financial understanding throughout the organisation
• Project management including planning and delivery
• Identify and drive process improvements around the financial reporting and transaction recording
• Work closely with the wider Finance team to ensure accurate data and reporting
• Develop strong relationships with relevant stakeholders

THE PERSON:

• Qualified or Part Qualified(CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or Qualified by experience with experience of Management Accounting and/or Commercial Accounting
  * Strong analytical skills
  * High levels of attention to detail
  * Ability to work to deadlines is essential
  * Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  * Excellent IT skills including Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
