Financial Accountant

Continued growth and expansion into new territories has created a new position for a qualified Financial Accountant to support the FD and Financial Controller in the day to day running of the family office. Managing the bookkeeping and business administration function encompassing personal finances, trading entities and subsidiary companies, a broad and varied brief includes:

•Day to day bookkeeping & financial accounting including transactions, reconciliations & journals
•Setting up cash payments, cashflow planning & forecasting, expenditure management
•Preparation of month-end management accounts for review
•Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
•VAT, Income & Corporation Tax returns
•Payroll, pension & expense claim management
•Monitoring trademark registration & renewal
•Tracking & renewing insurance policies
•Monitoring & review of fixed & business assets
•Providing commercial support for the evaluation of current & future licensing & sponsorship deals
•Liaison with professional advisors, household staff & business suppliers to resolve business & management issues including IT, Utilities, Vehicle Fleets & Communications

As a qualified Financial Accountant, you will demonstrate hands-on financial accounting and transactions experience, a working knowledge of Sage Xero and a calm, professional approach. Given the focus of the role, the position demands excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills alongside the gravitas to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters in a discreet and conscientious manner.
