Financial Controller

A healthcare company based in Central London requires a Financial Controller to join their growing and flourishing organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, guidance and leadership of a small team in an exciting and fast paced environment. This is a key position within the organisation and leadership team which requires an analytically minded candidate with commercial nous to deliver for the business.

Role Responsibilities -

• Play a key role on the executive leadership team
• Drive the business at a strategic and operational level
• Assist with quarterly and yearly audits
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Monthly board reporting
• Management and production of budgeting and forecasting, monthly, quarterly and annually
• Responsible for overseeing and approving all elements of transactional finance
• Cash management and cashflow forecasting
• Monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
• Assist with pricing and contract negotiations
• Stakeholder management
• Review, update and improve current processes and implement process controls
• Management of staff - Motivate and lead team

Candidate Requirements -

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
• Previous experience within the healthcare industry is desired
• Experience in managing a team
• Big 4/Audit trained would be beneficial however not essential
• Proven track record of producing commercial analysis and insight to key stakeholders and decision makers
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience working for a global/multinational organisation is preferred
