Group Financial Accountant - Sheffield

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading Sheffield based PLC to recruit a Group Financial Accountant for their Group finance function.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting you will be part of a team that is responsible for all external reporting.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparation of the group consolidation, including recording of journals, management of the inter company reconciliation process and preparation of working papers

Preparation of the interim results announcement and the Annual Report and Accounts

Group accounting policies - Ensure accounting policies are compliant across the Group

Liaise with external auditors

Maintain up to date technical accounting knowledge including IFRS developments

Support in the implementation of new accounting standards and financial reporting projects

Preparation of statutory accounts and ixbrl tagging for subsidiary entities


Key Skills / Experience:

Fully qualified ACCA, ACA , CIMA Accountant

Strong technical accounting skills

Ideally you will have experience within audit
