This well established and friendly 4 Partner Firm seeks a qualified accountant to join their team as a supervisor and assist with completion of day to day work to service it's client portfolio and help to mentor the junior and part qualified accountants in the team

Your new role
In this senior role within the audit and accounts team, you will supervise the part qualified and other qualified accountants in the team to ensure that day to day client work is completed accurately and to deadlines. You will manage incoming work and delegate as required, ensuring work is distributed evenly across the team. You will be hands on and leading by example and driving the team forward to reach a common goal. You will mentor juniors and review their work before going to the Partner for approval. This is a role of responsibility within the Firm, which will ease the burden on the Partners moving forward.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with post qualification experience in Practice. You will have experience of managing a team or held a senior status within a team previously and looking to make a step up. You will have a positive nature in order to motivate your team and ensure work is completed. You will be analytical with a good eye for detail in order to review work. You will also act as mentor to juniors in order to help them complete their training.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience. There is also the opportunity for progression, becoming Practice Manager in the future
