Financial Accountant

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a successful manufacturing business in Derbyshire, This business is fast growing both through acquisitions and organic growth. The business prides itself on progression and development of staff. This is a fantastic opportunity with great exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

As the Financial Accountant you will be joining a high performing team.

Key responsibilities:

- Overseeing externally managed companies
- Production of monthly management account
- Production budget/forecast
- Production of the statutory accounts
- Liaison with auditors
- Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
- Oversee Intercompany charges, allocations and reconciliations
- Tax workings/preparation review
- Supporting the finance function in general in many ad hoc tasks throughout the department.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally looking to make first move from practice, or industry with a proven record in financial/management accounts within a fast-paced, team environment. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and highly motivated and able to meet deadlines.
