My client is a well established construction and facilities business with contracts across the North West. After a recent business review, the need has been identified for an experienced and commercial interim resources to supporting the FD and the senior finance team on BAU duties as well as assessing and improving the accuracy, efficiency and commerciality of financial reporting.
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Head of Finance and IT/IS function this role will have the following key, initial aims:-
The role is initially envisaged to last for a three month period but it is possible that this could extend for the right candidate who could continue to add value.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, dynamic and capable commercial accountant with strong systems experience. Advanced Excel experience is essential - confidence with macros would be ideal but not essential as the support of the IT team is on hand. It is also expected the successful candidate will have strong experience in a contracting / project environment where you will have already gained understanding and exposure of bids, tenders and estimating. While a formal accounting qualification would be appreciated, your experience and track record are more important.
My client is looking for the project to commence ASAP so for further information please apply now.
