Finance Analyst

A leading player in the Lloyd's market are currently looking for an Finance Analyst to support their growing finance team.

As a Finance Analyst you will be part of the planning and forecasting team within FP&A, who are responsible for completion of the Group business plan and subsequent quarterly re forecasting, as well as production of management information. Your day to day responsibilities will include:  

• To assist with the preparation of the annual business planning process for the Group.
• To assist in the preparation of the syndicate expense and investment income forecasts, including those included in the Lloyd’s Syndicate Business Forecast.
• To assist with challenging the financial results of the Group and helping to ensure senior stakeholders are appraised of the Group’s performance in addition to identifying areas of improvement. 
• Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required by senior finance stakeholders.
• To produce MI reports (both automated and excel) as required by senior members of the FP&A team.

For this Finance Analyst position the candidate must be a part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a background in accounting within insurance or a graduate with a relevant degree and interest in financial services/insurance. The candidate must be able to demonstrate good communication with problem solving abilities also.
