Transactional Services Manager

Leading Media Technology business in London's West End is looking for an experienced Manager level candidate to join its finance team to head up Treasury, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role will manage one AR clerk and one AP clerk, as well as having a hands on involvement in all activities.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles
• Managing the payments and receipts of customers
• Ensuring all customers have been invoiced
• Customer query resolution
• Bank reconciliations
• Responsible for weekly repayments and monthly reconciliations
• Updating weekly cash flow forecast with actuals
• Managing Expenses system
• The successful candidate will be charged with identifying, helping to implement, and the ongoing management of a new billings system in order to improve efficiency
• The role will involve being involved with plenty of ad hoc work as required, and will provide the successful candidate with significant opportunities to challenge and improve the existing processes in the areas of AP, AR and Treasury

Requirements:

• Solid experience of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury
• Solid Managerial experience
• Strong Excel and systems experience - experience of systems implementation and/or improvements would be a big advantage
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and 'think on your feet'
• Hands on attitude
• Self starter
• Experience of process improvement a big advantage
• Excellent communication skills
