Partner Financial are currently working with a global, PE backed Education Group based in Central London.  The business operates at an international level, with office locations in Europe, Latin America, and Asia – they are looking to grow extensively over the coming years. This newly-created role offers the opportunity to build key metrics for the entire business as it develops while building relationships with senior stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this is an exciting time for the business, and the Finance Business Partner will be pivotal to the business achieving its aggressive growth strategy, which has thus far been achieved both organically and through acquisitions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading financial analysis and Executive reporting for the Group Central costs
  • In year and long-term business planning and analysis, including scenario analysis and target setting
  • Business partnering to key members of the Executive Committee to review financial results, forecasts and any financial activity e.g. projects
  • Partnering Global CIO and IT team to assess project benefits 
  • Providing financial modelling expertise to enhance our driver-based forecasting capabilities and scenario-based analysis of financial projections 
  • Reviewing and analysing the draft financial plans, providing support to functions where required 
  • Continually improving month end/forecasting routine activities
  • Providing analytical input to support external reporting

Skills and experience required:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Proficient on Excel with great modelling skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data to the stakeholders
  • Ability to offer advice to the business to aid the key decision-making process
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
