Finance Manager - West London

Newly-created managerial role with future opportunity to develop the team further. The person in this role will be responsible for managing a small team as well as reviewing current processes and taking a critical view of the finance to improve the speed and quality of work.

A large technology group has recently acquired a new business, allowing to expand their offering to their existing fan base; they are a fast-paced group who are focused on delivering high quality customer service whilst also identifying and promoting new sales opportunities.

Role

Varied and busy role supporting the Financial Controller in ad hoc work such as budgeting and reporting as well as managing a small team

Duties include:

• Management of a team of 3, supervising and reviewing their work ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Liaising with senior finance personnel - FC in London office and group team at Head Office
• Management of credit control team ensuring collections are prioritised, finance procedures monthly deadlines and targets/objectives set by FC are being met and the department is adequately covered always during the working day, providing cover as required from time to time.
• Review and audit of month-end processes; making recommendations on improvements
• Management of sales ledger, reviewing work by junior member of staff, preparing reconciliations, reviewing transactions etc.
• Providing FC with ad hoc general Finance support as required.
