Partner Financial are working with a leading consumer business based in Uxbridge is looking for an FP&A analyst to lead the initiatives and reporting for the business. The business have invested heavily in their FP&A function over recent years, which has brought to light a number of key benefits resulting in the desire to invest further in this area of finance.

This position is a crucial role within the team and would suit an individual who is a self-starter, motivated and has a passion for building strong relationships. The successful candidate will be visible to a number of key stakeholders within multiple functions meaning this job would be well suited to a commercially astute Financial Planning Analyst who can work closely with the Head of FP&A and the wider business to offer a value add service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate provision of reporting across the business
  • Producing monthly reports with insight, highlighting areas for improvements and efficiencies
  • Working with the broader finance team to ensure accuracy and understand the drivers in variance and results
  • Developing financial models to support the strategic initiatives
  • Providing analysis and recommendations to aid key decisions
  • Supporting the preparation of the monthly presentations for the Board
  • Developing relationships across various departments, working collaboratively and educating the business in terms of finance
  • Seeking continuous improvement and efficiencies of processes at all levels

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA , ACCA)
  • Experience working in Industry within FP&A
  • Ability to present and explain financial information to all levels of management
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships both in finance and other departments
  • Ability to drive and influence commercial solutions reinforced by insight, intellect and drive
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
