Finance Controller, Digital Media, up to £60,000 plus benefits

Finance Controller role for indie gaming creator and publisher. Reporting into the FD you will take charge of all day to day finance duties, and lead a small team 2. Due to some successful titles over the  past 2 year, post-merger into a SME Media Group, t/o is now at c£25m so further investment in people and the leadership team is required.

Role and responsibilities:

• Managing the day to day operations of the finance team
• Provision of Financial Analysis to provide key insight and information to support business decisions and company strategy
• Prepare management information and KPIs
• Preparation of Management Accounts, budgets, quarterly reforecasting and annual strategic reviews
• Monitoring and reporting on variances between budget/forecast/actual
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements

Skills and qualifications:

•  Fully qualified preferable with PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Preferable to have a good understanding of the publishing industry
• Management experience
• Excellent Excel skills including V Look ups, Pivot tables
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships (internally & externally) and influence others
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on, self-starter, proactive, energetic and the ability to meet tight deadlines
