You'll join a high performing and continually developing Internal Audit team. You'll be contributing to making sure the group has effective risk management in place. Where there are risks, you'll give assurance that they're being managed well. Where there are weaknesses, you'll support business colleagues to put in the right controls to make things better. You'll be building relationships with colleagues at all levels, giving you fantastic exposure and a real opportunity to build a career.
What you'll do:
* own a portfolio of projects, which could be across all areas of the group.
* develop a deep understanding of what colleagues do, the processes they operate and the culture they work in
* link in with different teams and processes, identifying any potential gaps or areas of risk
* challenge and influence to make sure colleagues put the right actions in place to fix any issues
* create insightful reports, making sure they're clear and concise so that senior leadership can focus on what matters most
* get involved in other ad-hoc assurance work
* help to continuously improve -
This role would suit people who have:
* project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple things at once
* great written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and confidently
* the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business
* strong influencing skills, and an ability to challenge in the right way
* a finance or internal audit qualification
