Commercial Accountant

A market leading manufacturer are recruiting for an exciting, challenging role of Commercial Accountant to be based on the outskirts of Hull. An interesting role for an experienced accountant with some commercial expertise who is keen to grow their commercial acumen further.

Day to day duties for the Commercial Accountant will include:

• Working closely with a key area of the business to provide dedicated finance support
• Sales analysis and margin reporting
• Product costing
• Attending and contributing to forecasting and new product development meetings
• Reporting and understanding of labour and material variance
• Ensuring period end accounts in a timely and accurate manner

To be considered for this exciting Commercial Accountant role, you will need the following:

• Previous experience of commercially focused accounting including forecasting and budget management
• Be already qualified or part-qualified through CIMA, ACA or ACCA
• Good communication and IT skills
