An interim CFO is required for a high growth private equity backed business based on the south coast with revenues in excess of £120M. The business has a strong track record of consistent growth and has a leading position within the market place.The business is looking to recruit a CFO that can partner with the various stakeholders within the business, and develop the finance function into a best-in-class organisation.The role will combine a hands-on element, particularly with regard to establishing cash controls, systems, and processes, with a more strategic element during contract tendering processes and collaborating with the Private Equity Investor.

Key Responsibilities: 

·To oversee the financial functions across the business

·Develop and implement best-in-class cash controls to optimise Net Working Capital

·Develop and implement best-in-class systems and processes including monthly management accounts, board reporting packs and management information

·Implement monthly standard to actual variance analysis

·Develop 13-week cash flow forecasts

·Refinance the business and introduce a optimised debt structure, including covenant reviews

·Leadership of a finance team including upskilling

·Partner with the CEO to bring the strategic vision of the business to life

·Cultivating stakeholder relationships internally and externally

·Developing and executing an exit strategy for the business

·Review and lead negotiations on all customer and supplier contracts

·Review and monitoring of Group statutory accounts & tax position, calculations and filings 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

·Significant ‘hands on’ experience of acting as a FD or CFO within a Private Equity backed investment

·Proven ability of establishing systems, processes and controls

·Healthcare experience is a nice to have, but not essential

·Experience working within a government contract led business is a nice to have, but not essential

·Chartered Accountant or similar qualification

·Extensive experience in developing relationships with demanding stakeholders
