Senior Manager (Accounts / Business Advisory Services)

Senior Manager opportunity offering ownership of a client portfolio and progression to Partner within an established Preston firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors.

THE COMPANY

An established Chartered Accountancy & Business Advisory Practice with a strong presence in Preston, renowned as Advisors to SME and mid-market businesses (£50k t/o - £20m t/o) across manufacturing, engineering, wholesale / distribution, property management and service industry sectors.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A truly unique opportunity has arisen for an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant seeking career progression to Partner. Joining the practice as a Senior Manager you will manage and grow your own client portfolio before becoming Partner in the firm within c.2-3 years.

As a Senior Manager you will be manage a portfolio of small business clients (£200k fees) and continue growing your portfolio through referrals. Upon the retirement of an existing Partner your portfolio will increase in size, offering you progression to Partner.

Your responsibilities will involve advising clients and business owners on a wide range of accountancy and business matters, whilst overseeing a team responsible for the preparation of Year-End Accounts, Monthly Management Accounts, Sage & Xero Bookkeeping, VAT Returns and Tax Computations.

THE PERSON

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified
• Background within small or medium sized Accountancy Practice (min.5 - 7 years)
• A strong desire to progress your career to Partner level within Accountancy Practice
