Well known Bradford Engineering company are currently recruiting a part time Financial Controller to join their dynamic finance division. After a major restructure and a year of growth, this role has been newly created to add commercial value and managerial support to the finance function. This role will allow you a great work/life balance, the hours and work days are your choice, and give a lot of room for flexibility.

In this role, you will work alongside the Financial Director, and have a team of accountants reporting in to you. Ideally you will be qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA and have a background of working in a hands on industry, like engineering, manufacturing, or agriculture. Your responsibilities will be varied and no one day will be the same. As well as adhoc projects, you will be responsible for:
*Overseeing the preparation of management accounts as well as analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
*Taking responsibility for month end, checking the accounts are correct and on track foe company success
*Monitoring cash flow, and transferring this knowledge to produce forecasts and budgets.
*Provide insightful management information for departmental managers
*Preparation of VAT and tax returns
*Leading projects that affect the whole company. Providing leadership, costing, and analysis.
*Overseeing transactional duties including purchase ledger invoicing, payroll processing and credit control.
**Ensuring the finance systems are running smoothly and efficiencies.

This role is ideal for someone who has the experience and drive of a Financial Controller but can't work the regular long hours. The role offers great benefits and as well as a flexible schedule.
