This profitable FTSE 250 Facilities Management group specialises in the planning, installation & management of real estate, ensuring buildings and related facilities are smarter, greener, safer & operating efficiently. Enjoying double-digit growth in recent years, the business has ambitious plans to capitalise on this success. The business is currently seeking a qualified accountant to undertake a 3-month assignment as a Divisional Financial Controller. Reporting to the Divisional Financial Director, you will take responsibility for financial performance management, monitoring of the control environment and for ensuring compliance with Group Accounting Policies and Group Controls Framework. A broad brief includes:

•Supporting the Finance Director, Managing Director, finance & operations teams in the design & delivery of business objectives & strategy
•Driving monthly financial review meetings to ensure operational teams understand financial & commercial performance, to optimise performance & meet group targets & KPIs
•Supporting the Finance Shared Service Centre on the production of monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss, balance sheet & cash flow
•Supporting operational teams in improvement & maximisation of working capital position
•Providing commercial on procurement & cost control
•Contributing to the design & build of MI & Reporting requirements
•Co-ordinating the delivery of Annual Operating Plan, budgeting & forecasting processes & cash forecasting for Group Finance
•Ensuring strong financial control, compliance with Group Accounting policies & best practice

As a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years financial reporting and controls experience, gained within an international or multisite business environment, you will demonstrate strong business partnering skills, the ability to drive and implement change and the gravitas to influence senior management, non-finance and key stakeholders. Immediate start available with the possibility of the role becoming a permanent position.
