Management Accountant

Croudace Homes Group is an award winning, established family-owned house builder constructing skilfully designed homes in the South East.

We are looking to appoint a Management Accountant based at our head office in Caterham. You will be required to assist the Financial Controller with the day-to-day operation of the Finance Department such that the effective financial control of the Company is maintained and that accurate financial information is reported on a timely basis.

You will work closely with the Financial Controller to prepare monthly management accounts, assist with annual budgets and forecasts, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial functions.

Further tasks you will be required to undertake include preparing and reviewing the submission of monthly VAT returns and audit queries, assisting payroll when required and providing ad-hoc support to the Group Finance Director and Financial Controller when necessary.

A Finance or Business degree is highly desirable.  You should be newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with experience gained within an Accounting Practice Environment. Candidates will have gained experience either whilst completing their qualification or have 1-2 years after completing their qualification. The ability to build effective relationships across the business, with a proactive ‘can do’ approach is essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and an advanced knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets.
