Management Accounting job for a leading manufacturing business in Flintshire.
Hays have been appointed on a sole agency basis to support a growing manufacturing business in the Flintshire area. This business is part of a wider group but the local site remains stand-alone with c£100m t/o. Due to continued growth and investment in the site the business is looking to increase the size of the finance department with a senior part qualified or newly qualified Management Accountant.
This newly created role will join a stable and experienced finance team of eight which includes three qualified accountants. The finance team is responsible for all elements of finance from Purchase Ledger through to Statutory Accounts as well as Group Reporting. The team has worked hard to streamline processes and utilise their ERP system, this has meant the whole department is focused on adding value through meaningful analysis rather than just reporting.
As the newly appointed Management Accountant you will be heavily involved in the month end process but also take a lead on BI reporting and details financial analysis. The role will have monthly structure and routine but also autonomy to lead on process improvement projects and business partner with key stakeholders across the business.
