Senior Management Accountant

You need not be a pin striped city slicker! - this is a professional and well-ran SME (circa £40m turnover) but it is a hands-on, friendly, 'get stuck in' environment where the MD is as likely to be making the tea as anyone else in the office.

Someone who enjoys doing the doing more than reviewing and strategizing will enjoy this role.

You will play an integral role in developing systems, continuous improvement of reporting and processes, streamlining month end, optimising the relevant and timeliness of the info in the board pack.

You will enjoy working for a highly visible, focused and supportive Head of Finance.

The Head of Finance is looking for a versatile Senior Management Accountant who will really enjoy making themselves thoroughly useful! You'll mentor and coach a team, have change to be involved in integrating current subsidiaries and further acquisition business, clean up the balance sheet, deliver more timely and insightful packs (for board level review)… Loads to get stuck into within a business that really values it's people. You need to be qualified.

The business is growing organically within a sector that is expanding.  They have made recent acquisitions and are poised for further purchases of UK competitors.

If you are a versatile, well-experienced and diligent management accountant / senior management accountant they would welcome the chance to explore this role with you.

You will need:

A professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)

A measured approach to problem solving and continuous improvement – someone calm under pressure and amid change will enjoy this role.

Ability to bring out the best in others around you (both in the small management accounts team and within transactional finance areas)

Good level of Excel.

A great attitude – someone who will make a positive change and get stuck in with a smile on their face!
